About us   Historical evolution   Sub / Branch Honor  Undertake many national developing subjects for refractory new products ■ Under the help and support from authority refractory institute, SDR have undertaken many national developing subjects for refractory new products. ■ During the state “Seventh Five-Year Plan”, a new products Al2O3-SiC-C brick was developed under the cooperation with LIRR. ■ In “Eighth Five-Year Plan”, SDR cooperated with Wuhan Technical University to develop the material of Zirconia-Mullite. “Baostell Con-casting Sub-entry Nozzles and The Localization Study of Gas Supply Components for 300MT Converter” was named as national eighth science research of major scientific and technological achievements. ■ In the “Tenth Five-Year Plan”, SDR researched and developed refractories for Coke Dry Quenching under the support of ACRE and Wuhan Technical University. With quality products, SDR is exclusively specified to produce refractories for CDQ in China. Part technology achievements in research ■ High quality slab casting got the prize of National New Products in 1992. ■ The Al-Zr-C compound stoppers performed well compared with the introduced types, which filled the blank of this field in China and reached the international advanced level. State Scientific and Technological Commission awarded the National New Products to the stoppers in 1995. ■ The anti-clogging Sub-entry nozzles having long service life used for Al-killer steel were the third lot technological innovation project of Shandong Province in 2002. The SENs won the first prize of Shandong metallurgical science and technology progress in October, 2003. ■ Non-carbon and non-silica nozzles for high purity steel got the first prize of Shandong metallurgical science and technology progress in October, 2004. ■ Quick-change Al-Zr-C Sub-entry nozzles with long service life won the first prize of Shandong metallurgical science and technology progress in October, 2004. ■ Non-preheated Ladle shrouds with thin wall and long service life were key project of Shandong technological innovation in 2003. The LS won the first prize of Shandong metallurgical science and technology progress in October, 2004. ■ “The technical study for spray-drying and roll-in to balls for synthetic mullite ” is the key project of Shandong technological innovation in 2008. It won the first prize of Shandong metallurgical science and technology progress in October, May, 2009.
